Reunification therapy is a relatively new therapeutic intervention that has been gaining traction in family court; the goal is to reunite an estranged and/or alienated parent with their kid(s). Reunification therapy is a great resource because it facilitates therapeutic healing so that a new relationship between parent and child can emerge.
